I've been fixing computers since high school and holding certifications ever since -- that's twenty-five years and still going. Along the way: MSP work in NYC with National Geographic as an early client, an IT directorship where I was hired to transform a copier company into an office technology firm, seven years running Halcyon Support, an AI assistant I built in 2017 before the word "AI assistant" meant anything to most people, and now two cannabis ventures in NJ. I've worn every hat. I don't stop.

The Career
Started fixing computers in high school and turned it into a first business. First IT certifications came that same year. Twenty-five years later, earned another one. Still going.
First IT job was at an MSP in New York City. One of the first clients was National Geographic. Learned fast what enterprise expectations look like when the account actually matters.
Hired as IT Director to transform a copier company into an office technology company. Completed the mandate, then started Halcyon Support.
Ran Halcyon Support for seven years -- a Charlotte, NC-based MSP with a specialty in cannabis industry clients. Built it, operated it, knew every account.
Eight years as a volunteer firefighter. The work that shapes how you think about real stakes, pressure, and what decisions actually cost.
Technology & AI
Built A.N.N.I.E. from 2017 to 2019 -- Artificial Neural Network Integration Environment. A private AI assistant: calendar management, preference learning, task execution. A personal Alexa before that was the language everyone used. Running ever since.
Designed an AI-powered solar and battery mesh camera network in 2022 -- a year before ChatGPT put AI on the front page. Custom hardware architecture, off-grid power, distributed inference. Built to work where infrastructure doesn't exist.
Early adopter of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Was there when the argument was still about whether it was real. Has a position on whether it was.
Twenty-five consecutive years of active IT certifications, from the first one in high school to the most recent one last year. Not a credential collector -- every one came with a project.
Research & Curiosity
Conducted original research into sildenafil as a novel plant growth regulator for cannabis cultivation. Studied the physiological effects and practical applications in a commercial grow context. The findings inform BPG's cultivation methodology.
Mapped a 2,200-person ancestor family tree. Not a hobby project -- a years-long archival and genealogical research effort. The same approach applied to everything: go deep, go primary sources, don't stop when the obvious trail ends.
The common thread across all of it: finds a domain, goes further into it than most people do, builds something from what he finds, and moves on to the next one without losing what came before.
Cannabis
Seven years of MSP work in the cannabis space through Halcyon Support gave first-hand operational knowledge of seed-to-sale infrastructure, multi-state compliance environments, and what licensed operators actually need to run.
Three-plus years of active breeding and phenotype selection, with consultations for some of the largest licensed canopies in NJ on genetics strategy and dry/cure operations.
Manages cannabis communities with hundreds of thousands of members. Pre-existing network of cultivators, breeders, and industry contacts built over years of actual participation, not marketing.
